I've been driving a 2012 Outback Limited for 13 years....209, 000 miles. Nothing stops it, ever.

I sold Subaru for years because it is by far the best suv. It has won many awards. It is also the safest. It is a tough little suv and almost impossible to get stuck in anything...snow, water, mud, sans, rocks...etc. Nothing is as good. It also holds its value better than all the other brands. The 2025 is better than ever.

Depends on what’s been modified!! Differentials have breather tubes that can bring in water, and the stock air filter box is too low as well. Gotta make some modifications if you’re doing that stuff

Great video! Twice I’ve had my 2018 Forester XT cross creeks this deep but much wider. That was a couple summers back, and I’m now at 80, 000 miles with no problems, except one: the wheel studs. A few months after the that creek crossing, several wheel studs rusted to the lug nuts. It seems that water got past the threads into the pocket at the tip of the inside of the lug nut. I ended up having to change all 20 wheel studs. This was a fun, inexpensive repair. The Subaru engineering is amazing and keeps getting better. I think my wife’s 2024 Crosstrek would outperform my Forester off-road, but she won’t let me do a comparison, lol.

Iev done this in my 03 H6 outback. They all have great off reading cultural backgrounds and abilities. One of my favorite things to do after getting my 2 inch lift on my last outback was to go to Southington off road park in Ohio and drive around until I found a stuck truck. I would pull him out and unless it was really crazy then drive through what they were stuck on. I got alot of thank you but F-u's. Lol loved it had alot of great times in it and that's why I got another one

I've driven a 2014 forester through a flooded road with water coming over my hood no modifications and not much further than 25feet the important thing was to keep going once you commit or you will stall out. Oh no problems after either

i try to keep it well under the height of my tires. I do have extended breather tube on my rear diff. But I don't go out of my way testing this. It's just insurance.

I'm a Tacoma guy but I do like Subarus. They are definitely capable. Even in shallow water like the one in this video.

Sweet ! 👍🏼
I ordered a ‘25 exactly like this.
December ETA.
I’ll never off-road it but it’s fun to see others do it 🙂

I've put my forester over the hood during flooding in Vancouver Washington. I was the first car through that wasnt swamped, and i went around a Tacoma that wasn't sure!

That was definitely a little close for comfort. Water definitely get in the air box
