One thing about phones now is that the camera hasn't changed much in many years. when I buy a phone now it is about battery life and connectivity. Also apps need to optimize.

Since the iPhone 7 their cameras have always had a yellowish green tint. It's definitely gross looking can the iPhone is always my least favorite shooter

This is probably the first time, Pixel Camera is looking so good compared to iphone except portrait 😅. And you appreciated that. 🎉

I'm no apple user, but the iPhone camera's consistency in taking videos and photos is much better. Also the white balance and skin tones are out of place with Pixel phones. Portrait photo and video modes do not usually use the optical lenses in most Android phones, not only the Pixels but also my Samsung s24. What a shame.

Potraide mode on pixel 8 pro was a dealbreaker for me and it looks like the 9 pro isn’t better. Also that you can’t use x 1.0 and x5 in potraide is also a joke…
Maincamera on some pictures have sometimes slightly better colors than iPhone. But the iPhone doesn’t make much things really bad and is the better allround camera.
And the pixel 9 pro has to compare to the iPhone 16 pro.

The shitty edge detection of Pixels is a megafailure and its inability to use telephoto for portraits is a megafailure too. I definitely do not agree with your neglecting this problem. Google has not solved this throughout the years of previous generations of Pixels and I doubt they will solve it any time soon. Btw. I am buying a phone to use it now and not to wait for some possible updates, which may not come at all. So far the new Pixels seem as quite a big disappointment to me. They stuffed the phone with loads of AI shit that nobody wants or needs but they were not able to solve simple edge detection... Shame.

Ive never like Pixel's camera because the white balance is too blue, but in 9 series it is good. I think sharpening level also toned down. Pixel 9's camera is rock . .

Nicewow selfie is very good. . On pixel and now they have added hand gesture to take pictures like samsung win win. And that night time video looked much better on pixel lol the iphone looked washed out. Not good at all to me any ways . ❤ much love

The pixel 9 pro xl camera is good no doubt but tbh i like iPhone images more the pixel images are over sharpening or over hdry look.

Oh, Iphone not detalisathion on object's. Pixel 9 Pro XL is on par with Xiaomi Ultra 11, 13, 14 model in terms of detail.
