GTX 1050 Ti vs GTX 1060 3GB - Tested in 2023

In this video I'm testing the Nvidia GTX 1050 Ti 4GB vs the Nvidia GTX 1060 3GB in different games in 2023. The Nvidia GTX 1050 Ti came out at in 2016, has 768 cuda cores, 4GB of GDDR5 with a speed of 7.108GBps. The GTX 1060 3GB has 3GB of GDDR5, the GTX 1060 3GB came out in 2017 and the GTX 1060 3GB has a memoryspeed of 8.008Gbps and 1152 cuda cores.

The difference in the Witcher was surprising. Almost 3x the performance. I had the 1060 3GB but sold it along with a 780ti and replaced them with a 980ti. Two 3GB cards for one 6GB card. I watched the 1060 6GB vs 980ti video and the 1060 6GB which is faster than the 3GB got much less FPS in Witcher 1080p Ultra. That doesn’t seem to make any sense.

Thank you for uploading this. They both seemed to have performed about the same, I am trying to figure which card to use for a 1st time budget gaming PC for my young grandson. One card requires a 6 pin and the other doesn't require one and I have a Zotac 1060 3GB on hand already so I may just go with that one.
