It's good channel your started here - I am not really a young man actually closer to 50 but I like your approach to style and gentlemanly life. I am a regular on other men style channels and you have your own touch and having your girlfriend to contribute every now and then is a good idea I think. The piece of jewlery I would recommend is the signet ring. Traditionally it shows your (old) family but nowadays it doesn't have to. The signet ring adds a touch tradition and sophistication. Mine is gold and oval in the british style, but one can have it square, more in the French "chevalière" style. I got mine to celebrate a significant event in my life and it's become a signature of my style. I feel confortable in a minimalist and practical, streetwise, style and I leave the peacocking to dandys. I think that a pocket square or a scarf or a signet ring and a touch of colour on a necktie with a classical navy or charcoal suit make the different and provide a harmonius balanced outfit. I think nowadays dressing well doesn't cost much, a jacket doesn't cost much, and wearing a suit with a tie - or not - is really subversive, it says "take me seriously I have standards and I mean business".

I might add wear peak lapel blazers. The high peak makes the wearer look taller and thinner. A low gorge jacket makes one look short and fat.
