I appreciate highlighting some important points: 1) voluntary motivation promotes optimal health compared to forced motivation. 2) delightful surprise from an event boosts dopamine necessary to execute action to achieve results (meeting a human need, eg, food). Great soundbyte! 👋👋Thanks much 😊🙏

Hi Mind Life Flow - Patrick here...thanks again for a great video and content on goal setting...many people I see in private practice struggle with setting and then achieving their goals...

so dopamine is important for goal achievements and the most dopamine release is when we experience something new and positive? and at the end it's basically we need to brainwash ourselves to achieve the undesired goal?

So what is released when you’re completely satisfied causing less motivation? Once you’ve accomplished the desire and you have no motive what was released at climax

Entering(submersion 3 times with a certain prayer and crossing yourself) in water springs of orthodox saints (which are near or in monasteries)give very much power and sureness to people with depression, panic attacks, schizofrenia and other soul illnesses, there are some springs of mother of God Maria that heal soul illnesses.

The fact that we need novel (new) positive experiences to happen to get dopamine is kind of depressing because there's no way we can reliably recreate novel experiences for ourselves. That explains addictions to gaming and watching shows and what not. There are better ways to get motivated than listening to this talk about dopamine in rats.
