I started using electrio culture a couple of years ago. I’d read that in Victorian times people could grow veg on poor ground and it also kept the slugs etc away. Apparently it was common knowledge until the fertilizer industry took over. I grew broccoli that was around twice the size of the year before and I did it by following these basic rules:
- Insert one or two canes into each plot.
- Wrap thin copper wire around each cane clockwise and bury the lower end around 6 inches into the ground and leave around 6 inches sticking out above the top.
And that was about it.

I’ve used electro culture for three years and it’s brilliant. Combine it with no dig. Buy a coil of thin copper pipe, about £30 quid, uncoil some to make a spiral about 5 or 6 foot. Sink the bottom foot into the ground and insert a spiral of thin copper wire into the top as an antennae. I have three in my garden and have wonderful produce.

Very informative interview Richard. Tried this myself and finally got a good amount of blueberries and blackberries, most interestingly had no green/blackfly aphids no more! the slugs and snails also kept their distance. Keep up the good work brother. Youtube should be promoting you not shunning!

A Chicago escapee myself (2021), I've moved to the middle of Tennessee, and this summer, I planted my very first tomato plant - my very first plant ever, in fact. I'm a total newbie, but it's been so fun to watch this thing sprout big, beautiful heirloom tomatoes. In fact, they are the best tomatoes I have ever put in my mouth. They're even better than the heirloom tomatoes at the store. People need to start doing more of this stuff.

Tulip Poplar Trees are fast growing and are used to remove heavey metals from Factory Polution and they can filter the ground water as well. Singapore University has done research on 12 tropical plants that are known to Clean the soil and remove toxic chemials and heavy metals from heavy intdrustrialization.

Thank you all. I have been trying to grow my veg. Some limited success but I don't want to use harmful pesticides etc and although I am happy to share my produce with natural predators, I do want enough left for us too.

Fantastic show Richard. I am so glad your guests talked about the importance of the rocks as they provide all the minerals as well as energies for the plants. There are many research papers showing the benefits of these volcanic rock powders that have been suppressed by the petrochemical industry which makes chemical fertilisers and pesticides. Also look at the benefits of growing in areas of higher than normal carbon dioxide levels - it also grows very large, healthy and abundant vegetation.

We use larva - the small gravel size. It is para-magnetic and also releases nutrients and excellent mulch cover. The plants thrive in it !!
