There is no raytracing in the normal gameplay, only in the Forza Vista mode (photo mode). They use cube mapping in the gameplay

The way Digital Foundry talk about light and reflections. I can see why you thought the game was using raytracing. But its not, only in vistamode...

Both Series X Modes 'target' 4K60. Performance mode will sacrifice quality to minimise fps drops and vice versa for Quality mode.

You mentioned it in a recent stream when talking about Rider's Republic - how is the 'youth' focus in this? The magenta-tinged street speak of the influencer era? I couldnt stand that aspect of the previous Forza Horizon haha

Just a correction, the game does not have ray tracing in any game mode, only in forza Vista (your garage)

Never really got into Horizons. Gave a shot to 3 and 4 but they were too arcady and bit dull. World looks great as always but menus and story were clearly designed for kids/youngsters. This game seems to be the same game as previous with different map, gonna pass.
