TF2 MvM - Expert Spy Practice Map

Practice map for Mann Vs Machine spy to learn how to take out giants and small groups of robots.

Spy Practice Mission:

FYI: The difficulty is beyond Expert, so don't get discouraged if it seems impossible at first. Practice hard so play is easy. Paste into ...\Steam\steamapps\common\Team Fortress 2\tf\scripts\population (alternatively, try your "custom" folder if that doesn't work). Then open TF2, open your console, and enter the command "map mvm_coaltown". Vote to change the mission to Spy Practice.

Extra caveats:
I aim to re-do this mission / video, as I still have a lot to learn on spy. Most namely:
- Better and more consistent trickstabbing
- Remembering to disguise as soon as I spy so as not to waste time / get unintentionally ganked
- Probably won't use the sapper on the demos next time, slowing them down isn't as useful as just getting an extra stab (950 damage) in.
- I probably didn't need to invest in sapper power in general to be honest, as the movement and stab speeds should be more than enough to deal with the mini heavies without major issue.
- Maybe focus more on resistances next time? I lost a lot of time from dying to that first heavy and the shotgun heavy.

Some other helpful points:
- The reason I usually disguise as scout is because the robots don't care what disguise you have, it's easy to equip (4, 1, 1), and it lets you move at full speed (medic, scout, and spy disguises all do this, the rest will slow you down).
- Underscore's video (in description) also includes an easy spy auto-disguise script that is extremely useful for both MvM and normal TF2.
- Big Earner is good for the speed boost and replenishing cloak for DR. Kunai is a good choice too although it makes you even squishier than BE. Stock knife is fine too.
- The sapper generally isn't all that powerful or useful for spy in normal MvM gameplay, although it never hurts to get one tick in sapper power if you can afford it.
- You'll pretty much always want to use Dead Ringer, the survivability is far more powerful than normal cloak, especially considering the robots won't attack you while you're disguised (although they will stare you down when you attack).

Just beaten this for the first time today. Pretty proud of myself for overcoming this challenge, and hope to practice more in the future to keep learning the class.
