as a Tesla employee I can tell you that these cars stay really clean especially the white. IDK how and what painting method they use but it holds up every well.

I suggest Maguire waterless wash and wax spray for the bugs part. It’s awesome against bugs and bird poop and leaves a nice slick surface so water and bug won’t stick on so easily. I wouldn’t recommend using the just water and microfiber method because it can scratch your paint easily. Also the waterless wash is good for a quick clean up of bug guts and bird poop because their acidity that can damage the clear coat and paint underneath.

I highly suggest using Gyeon's leather coat for the white seats. I've had my MY for 4 months now and it looks like the day I picked it up. Supposed to last 3 years once applied.

Ceramic coat it. A little bit of rain mostly keeps it clean with that.

For me the glass roof is a nightmare to clean as it collects a lot of salts from the rain that are hard to get off (and tree sap). And since I park mine in my yard bugs love to hang around it and mess it up since it’s white, but I have PPF so I’m not too worried about the paint

I buy used trucks for working with and prefer to pick up the work oriented trucks with the vinyl floors instead of the carpet. It's cheap but with muddy and oily boots I can just wipe it off or hose it clean. On passenger cars the carpet helps with the noise and looks/feels better.

I ceramic coated my car and I find it very easy to clean bug splatter off. I even Ceramic coated the windshield to cleaning it is even faster.

I had my 2022 Model X ceramic coated inside and out by Ceramic Pro…
BEST MONEY I EVER SPENT.
The car exterior and interior stay much cleaner and is much easier to clean when it needs it.

Don’t have a Tesla but having a ceramic coating on my vehicle made the vehicle easier to clean and dry. Not by too much but the smooth paint makes it seem less to work on.

I would consider getting ceramic coating. There are DIY kits and stuff definitely helps things not stick to your car/windshield.
