This years beesmas update has a bit of abig problem when it comes to the sticker uypdate in bee swarm simualtor. Is it too RNG? Do bee swarm youtubers have the advantage? How is onett going to fix this bee swarm simulator update? It it too macro reliant? Well, heres how onett fixed it

Ngl onett fixed nothing with beesmas, all he did was make it slightly easy for the majority of players, as a Xbox player this beesmas is physically impossible. I can’t macro, I can’t afk farm, and trading is impossible because of not having the ability to even speak. It’s not like I’m early into the game, I have a ssa, full coco gear minus belt and petal wand and I still can’t get any stickers. Last beesmas on my old account I got to the tenth present with just full porcelain gear and a diamond star amulet. If pc players can macro for days on end without getting any of the stickers they need what chance do I have?

The problem is if you can’t macro your basically screwed or you grind the game to hell

Edit: can't believe I have to say this but don't even bother replying if you are unable to make a proper argument based on facts. If you disagree but can't back it up it's called glazing brainlessly and it's nothing to be proud of. If you disagree and can actually explain your point of view/opinions in a way that can be easily understood, feel free to debate me.

Even if most people can still get the stickers they need, this beesmas is still absolutely horrendous.
Most of the stickers either require a ton of grinding to get or are incredibly specific:
Take for example honey bear: in no normal scenario would a player grind mt top with a bunch of honey bees for a stupid amount of time. This sticker basically requires a player to macro or trade for it, which is just dumb. Macroing should never be required and should be a niche thing players can do for a small advantage as some people can't even macro. And trading is even worse somehow. Over half the people I've seen (discord and hive hub) barely even speak english and type stuff that a normal person can barely understand. And you're supposed to deal with these people while also trying to find actual decent deals (because just about everyone wants at least 2x overpay to even think about taking the deal because they saw a traffic sign go for 2 star signs once).

Even quests that are considered easy such as riley's take a considerable amount of type. I don't know any actual numbers (yet another issue with stickers: their chances are basically hidden), but I actively grinded in pine with 10 fire bees for 4 hours and only one small flame sticker. So basically, a non macro player has to convert 20-30% of their hive (something early-mid game players can't really afford btw) to fire bees and then grind in a field for 12 hours just for one requirement from a single quest. This is NOT okay. I somewhat understand stick bug's, honey bee's and gummy bear's quests being hard (even though they are still incredibly hard even when compared to their older counterparts), but at least give the early-mid game players an opportunity to finish some quests without sacrificing half a day straight.

it is true. the fact some people can complete bbm in 10 days (being mostly youtubers) says enough

in 2022, i could easily take on both gifted riley and bucko bee's questlines without any problems at all, and THAT WAS IN 2022, when i still had the porcelain set. now i own some end-game gears but i am still struggling to complete both of the gifted bees' questlines and others alike due to them requiring you to collect stickers, which most of them being stated as extremely rare. just take a look at onett's yard art quest for example: half of them is just collecting stickers. this year (or supposedly 2023)'s beesmas is just trading and afking for stickers simulator

Another huge issue with this beesmas is how much Onett screwed over console players. Trading is one of the main ways to get stickers, and on console you can’t chat, so you either have to try to communicate using stickers or just never trade.

its funny to see people say trading is the one sole answer to the rng issue like you have any control of what someone has and what they'll offer for it. at the end of the day, you have to be lucky to find someone with the stickers you need, let alone even trade it for a good price. nothing about this beesmas is skill based (aside from the bee bear shop stickers) or fun and you have to rely on outside factors that are outside of your control to even progress. this is easily the worst beesmas onnet has made.

It's disappointing how biased this video is.
You dont see that many people asking for stick nymphs? There are heaps. Youre either not in the trading hub very much or ignorant.
A lot of the playerbase aren't friends with endgame players or on alts with main account being endgame left on macro etc they have to actually grind. Also add that not everybody macros. So those ppl are really struggling not just with stickers but with grinding enough snowflakes for the catelogue items.
This years beesmas should be titled year of the alt...

I have an idea, onnet could make requirements for the stickers, for example, if u want a pink cupcake, collect a certain amount of pollen from the strawberry field and if u want a diamomd cluster then transform a certain amount of bees into legendary

you must be a confectioner, cuz the glazing is immaculate
1: stickers can technically just never drop, meaning progression is entirely rng based
2: sticker requirements instead of engaging ones (pollen, mob kills, token collecting, materials etc) encourage players to just sit all day in trading hub praying someone who isnt a tierlist zombie walks in and trades them what they need
3: macroing is a requirement for most of them because of ridiculous droprates (which mobile and console players can't do)
4: trading is massively annoying, no i do not want to contact anyone or talk on trading hub, i wanna play bee game, not a social hangout
5: as soon as sticker values settle down, a mass influx of what i like to call "tierlist zombies" appear that have no idea on values and only trust tl's (which constantly fluctuate or conflict with each other, leading to arguments and miscommunication which is frustrating) ((literally happens in every game with an economy, sad to se bss go that way))

Just make the npcs with repeatable quests have a chance of giving random quest stickers as a reward

“In reality we had to wait for onetts genius to kick in”
OR, you can stop glazing him and admit that this Beesmas sucks, and that he did a wrong

Honestly i kinda preferred this beesmas to revolve a bit more around the retro swarm challenge instead of gambling for specific stickers for a specific quest

I’ve been macroing for three days straight and can’t get this stupid tiny house sticker, people are asking so much in the hub for this stupid sticker. Onett didn’t fix anything💀

In my opinion most sticker parts of quests should have been removed for multiple reasons
1 stickers are RNG based and most players want intresting gameplay instead of macroing for stickers
2 stickers aren't something that has a huge impact on the game, being almost useless and hard to obtain, yet are the most important thing in the quests
When robo bear was introduced bucko and riley bee quest were not that hard to complete riley bee needed 8 hours of invirogating nectar which you could easily get from the samovar and bucko bee needed 8 hours of comforting necatar and 25 mechsquitoes defeated (1 new thing for riley 2 new things for bucko, requires some AFK) went up to (3 new things for both bucko and riley, requires a lot of AFK/macro)
Stickers should be used occasionaly (quests 10, 15, 20) and NPCs should have 1 task related to stickers max with the exception of stick bug, gummy bear, bubble bee man

youtubers definitely have an advantage cuz they get donated all the stickers

I also hate how it’s almost necessary to macro when so many people can’t

This beesmas is god awful, I for god damn sake cannot get the stickers, and I know in my heart no matter what I do I will never be able to complete stickbug, honey bee, gummy bear, bucko bee, and some other stickerss in quests, partly because inventory space for stickers is so expensive but also since bee bear requires so many random stickers that I delete, but then need one quest.

YOU are an endgame pro that macros 24/7, that’s why it seems possible for you I am an average player who cannot acquire these stickers because of the god damn hoarding and over pricing, and the fact I DO not macro 24/7

Hop off the onnet glaze bro

The problem is that first there was a progress bar like 1000 out of pollen collected but now with stickers you cant see the chances of getting them so poeple dont feel that they made progress to getting the stickers. What onett could do is show the chance for the sticker and if you dont get it will increase it chance to be dropped and show which hidden stickers are now in the map. (Something like that.)
