2020 he's still playing Michael's songs, I respect Jonathan Moffet, one of my favourite drummers of all time.

This is by far one of my favorite MJ songs. I don’t recall this song being a big hit in the U.S. but I was living in Germany at the time of its release and I remember Michael performed this song live on a TV show there. Was one of the most chilling and epic performances I had ever seen from him. At the time, 1996-97, it was the most viewed show in Germany’s history! Great performance! This song always gives me chills!

One of my favorite things about Sugarfoot is his ability to build tension in a song until the last possible moment, and then letting it all hang out. Like when he waited until precisely the right moment to move to the ride cymbal, on this song. It’s a quality that I’ve found only the most musical drummers have.
