The only good tutorial showing how to do this, that I can recall aside from this one, is from several years ago, over 10 minutes, and converts the normal to an emit map, then to displacement...

Loved the simplicity and result, and I look forward to using this much easier way of baking texture detail lol

so i cannot displace some thing like a road that goes in a square and then add the texture and displace, cause it doesnt work for me
