⭐️ AXE-FX III and SY-1000 merged!

Part 2 of my independent video series about the BOSS SY-1000. In this video the SY-1000 will be combined with the AXE-FX III and some of these sounds will be demonstrated.

I connect my regular pickups directly to the Axe-FX III, to avoid going degrading the signal the SY-1000 A/D-D/A converters, and I use the guitar pickup volume to blend with the SY-1000.

I use the SY-1000 only as a guitar modeller (e.g.: acoustic, nylon) and synth, without effects. I place the Axe-FX IN-3 Block at the begging of the chain, and I process the AX-1000 signal at the Axe-FX III. The reverbs, delays, etc have much better quality at the Axe-FX.

Since they now have fm9, i now considering buying it to pair with my sy1000 and analog synthesizer

I used to do something similar with gr55 and the helix. But I used a split stereo cable out from guitar. One into gk and other into helix. Left and right out from gr55 to 2 different return blocks. Took me a while to figure it out. I sold the gr55 a few months later because I did not like how it tracked. I’m sure the sy1000 is much better. Very cool video.
