Who sings Vivaldi's 'Orribile (terribil'è) lo scempio' best?

Definitely Dmitri! Not only does he have his beautiful baritone timbre, but also excellent diction and despite the power and depth of his voice he has the flexibility to navigate the notes

Cantor is very educated beautiful voice, but with Hvorostovsky it's a real operatic aria! Bravo Dmitri, great late man and artist

Hvorostovsky is THE BEST hands down. Ulivieri is not even a baritone by the sound of it. Regazzo is old school. And I just can't hear the fourth guy over the orchestra. RIP Dmitry! We love you lots and lots and lots!

My choice, Dimitri!!!Number One.. I have heard "Orribile lo Scempio", many times but never sang by Dima, In my opinion he wins. with that clear and happy energy in that wonderful voice.

No doubt, it's Dmitrij Hvorostovsky the best. First of all, his unique voice, the evenness and flexibility of this voice, then a great variety of its timbre, as well. That is why he can easily interpret the essence of a musical composition!

I've listened to this now a few times and I'm still sticking with Hvorostovsky. When he sings in his lowest range he doesn't lose compression or control. The others don't seem to have the push when they reach the low end of their voice.
