When ~Error~ is the Only Thing Showing on Your Joomla Site (White Screen Of Death)

Here is one way to troubleshoot and fix your Joomla site when it is showing only ~Error~ on the 500 server error white screen of death.

The required fix here was updating this site's Rockettheme Template to the latest available solution.

The steps to do so also apply to other out of date Joomla templates causing issues.

Remember to backup your site first!

My problem was that I was using an old deprecated PHP 5.4. I switched to 7.3 and fixed the problem.

Hi. How can you fix it if you don't have access to the backend (/administrator)?
I mean after you go to cpanel and manualy change error reporting to "development", you can have more details about the error but then you still don't have access to /administrator...

BTW, I'm having an HTTP ERROR 500 without access to /administrator :(
