I honsetly can´t think of a g2 without any of those players... But something has to change. Either players, additional coaching or something. I love all of you, hope to see you back next year, GG WP Boys!

The close games against T1, the 3-0 against TES at MSI, nearly beating BLG, beating WBG should all be reminders that this team can do it. They need to stay creative, that's how they win, none of this standard nocturne and ori. Stay together and keep with this

Much love for miky and G2 in complete. I will support you forever ❤

2024 g2 was way better than 2023 g2, even if results were samey. i would prefer to see if they can improve even further, compared to a roster change that may or may not work.

G2 is constantly improving. This team is the peak of LEC right now. They can do it, and I believe, that this five players will do it. Just do not give up! We are here, in good and in bad times! We support you, no matter the result! G2 fighting!

Sounds a little bit like a coaching issue. They were regularly outdrafted. The individual talent and team chemistry is there, I don’t see a need to replace the players.

I really like how honest this man is tbh. Anyone who have ever played a engage supp can tell sometimes is difficult not to get caught in even matches.

Miky said that he cannot imagine things staying the same, and that they were shutting down, and stopping to communicate.
I've been told that there's experienced jungler that was allowed to investigate options in LEC. Maybe G2 should check that.

He said what we showed was pathetic. You played vs BLG, took them to 3 games. Stomped them in 1 game and made it superclose. Nothing to be ashamed of. I had hope all the way through. Coming from a fnatic fan, you are the best of our region period! Nothing but love

"PPl will think this year is a failrue?" I dont think so at all. Ofc worlds fucked us, but imo it was just the last 2% that were missing and we can do it!
Chin up i trust you guys!

The thing that needs to change is not picking Nocturne/Orianna just because it's currently scrim meta and completely abandoning their actual strengths.

Poor guy 25 years old and still the best support in the region.
Not being a complete fking dog, playing mf, playing jayce, playing counter top and being down 100 cs. Actually respectable human being.

mikyx is a great support, yes he made a couple mistakes, but to me actually still one of the best supports

I'm copying my comment from a Reddit thread:

I'm right alongside him (TheShy) in wanting the Western teams to do better, but I sincerely believe that there's a ceiling that Western teams just can't break through with any real consistency, and it's due to the top teams not getting the challenges/punishments they need to improve.

The last G2 series (still sadge about it) is a perfect example. Game 1 they gave some comfort picks to BLG and got rightfully smashed for it. Game 3 they kept things even but overcommitted to the wrong plays and got smashed for it. Even in their other games they got killed through superior macro even if they did keep it close. Conversely, Fnatic lost through lack of macro. In their last series they seemed absolutely toothless and just let themselves get steamrolled, and considering how the EU Finals went against G2 that's been a consistent issue that never got properly punished during their domestic season.

In regular sports, one of the best ways to train is by going against people better than you because it forces you to step your game up and push yourself to your limits to keep up, and in doing so makes returning to face people on your level that much easier. The West needs something like this to a desperate degree. The best Western teams need that time against people that won't be merciful against their bonehead plays or just run it all the way down. They need to get used to that feeling and play accordingly, and I think without something to challenge their complacency we're just going to see this repeating cycle of making it to knockouts and getting knocked out.

Whether the LEC needs to bin the 3 split style and do the BO3 style that the other regions have utilized or there should be more international events for the West to show up to, there needs to be enough of a consistent challenge for a team like G2 to stay sharp through domestic splits into international events, and until that happens I think this is going to stay a disappointingly repeatable cycle.

BRUH this interviewer is trying to split the team 😂😂 "I think the deciding play was that baron call....WHO MADE THAT CALL?" like bro what are these leading questions

I don't think there are that many available upgrades within the region. Considering how close some games were, I would personally not have a problem with running this roster back a third time. If someone is to be replaced, it needs to be an absolute slam dunk of a signing and nothing less.

This is a bit hard to watch, I totally understand the feeling of amounting to nothing in these last couple of years but I don't think that's true. Yes, the results show no major improvements really if we're still can get out of groups and of course that affects the company money wise and all that. But as a viewer and enjoyer of league, and as a fan of G2 I believe the team was much much better this year than last.
But it is so hard to be competitive internationally when you have almost no competition locally, is just hard to carry an entire region on your back. And I respect you guys a lot for not relying on lucky draws and weak matches, as excuses.
I love this team, I like all the players and the coaching stuff, the way you treat the game seriously, how you train consistently, how you challenge yourself. I'm grateful that I got to cheer for y'all and wish you the best for what's coming next!

Love the honest responses, feels like all they need is top tier practice. I still with they could do a G2 goes to LCK for a year or something like that.
If you can fall behind and come back on ballsy plays that aren't correctly punished all year, you're bout to make mistakes when finally somebody calls your bluff.

man i actually liked this roster so much. sadly it's the end if the rumours are probably true.
