Nothing here shocked me tbh, but just a little extra on one of the facts
The one were the russians strapped explosives to dogs
The reason they scrapped that idea was because the people training the dogs were using Russian tanks to be trained with and to learn to attack the tank, but some bright spark forgot that German and Russian tank run on different fuel, one runs on petrol the other diesel
So the dogs started attacking the Russian tanks on the battle field instead of the German tanks because both tanks sound different due to the fuel type and engine, so the dogs did what they were taught to do and attack the Russian tanks basically, so I doubt Stalin was very pleased with the guy who thought that one up, can anyone say Siberian gulag .
