(hence why Dragon Ball is not considered one of the big 3. It’s more the father of the big three.)

And of course attack on Titan wouldn’t be on that list. They came out way later enough that people were trying to put attack on Titan as part of a list of the “new big 3”

I thought everybody knew this, like Dragon ball is the father of the big three, and the big three is exclusive to OP, Bleach and Naruto. Like the new gen is good and has their spikes in terms of popularity, but is very unlikely we have another big three in the same way of popularity, impact that they had during their time.

One piece Manga came out in 97. Naruto manga came out in September 99, barely 4 months before the 2000. Bleach manga came out in 2001.

As for the anime. OP came out in October 99, barely 3 months before 2000. Naruto can out in 2002…Bleach in 2007.

So how was the term "big 3" coined in the 90's...by a time traveller?

The reason BDZ is not among them is because it's from an completely different era. The big 3 was coined in early 2000's during the peak of Shonen jump, when OP Naruto n' bleach were long running and popular.
