I honestly don't a fuck if people hate this anime, SAO was the very first series that introduced me to the world of anime, and made me hooked for life 😂 kids these day might not understand, but this anime was HUGE and created a major trope in anime that is still being actively used till today(of course, sao didn't start it, but it for damn sure popularized it). People really hated the gruesome scenes, but that's like 0.1% of the anime. The fight scenes, the sceneries, the world building, it's honestly great, at least in my opinion, ESPECIALLY, if you read the LN. Oh right, this series is also the reason why I started to enjoy reading things 🤣

Oh. I actually thought that was actually another character, Fanatio, that evil blonde emperor killed. Actually, they look almost identical, the only two differences being that Fanatio looks more fair-skinned while Lipia looks tanned and Fanatio has gold eyes while Lipia has purple eyes. Plus, they’re both in love with their direct superior. Was this on purpose to show both sides of the war weren’t so different or did they just get lazy with the character design?
