RIP Steam Deck users, and RIP Linux users. GTA V was the top 10 most played games on Linux. I own a Steam Deck and I play GTA V on there.

I play on PC too and the crashes ARE it happened during a sell mission. I am happy about this, I bought a Xbox just because all the BS on PC

I honestly cant belive people are happy for bettleye. I bought the game about month ago and now i cant play it because of bettleye and i am sure i am not alone. Not only they took the game from linux users but also made it unplayeble for people with slow PC. I install Linux on my pc just so i can get some decent fps on gta. For me this thing sucks as hell.

I use mods for the single player game to get all of the new online vehicles etc for free while going around the city as Michael, Franklin and Trevor. I haven't played online for a while, I'm having fun going through the main missions again.

Man I love it!

Some modders are cool, but most are annoying, pulling everyone onto a pile and killing all, interrupting whatever you were doing, and tons of disruptive things. When they released the Assault on ATT, these people were using godmode 🙄 like what’s the point of playing if you’re immortal? Good riddance, I say.

Today I played for a couple hours with no stupid interruptions, etc. Love it love it love it 😝

Hopefully this brings legitimacy back to GTAO on PC. Haven't played on PC in 5 years because of cheaters ruining the game. Maybe I'll jump back on PC version. Get F'd cheaters. You won't be missed.

It’s really annoying that Rockstar aren’t supporting Linux based devices like the Steam Deck with this new anti-cheat. I’ve been playing GTA: Online primarily on my Steam Deck for the last couple of months, and I’ve made so much money and progress. All that is now just gone. BattlEye fully support the Steam Deck, which is what makes it so annoying. This is a decision Rockstar themselves made. Guess I’ll have to move back to consoles, which means paying monthly subscriptions to play. Great… 🤦‍♂️😕

Pretty sure that the premium Mod Menus like Stand and 2Take1 will come back. We all have our suspicions that Rockstar is in cohoots with them. Now, with this anti cheat, they'll charge double the money they used to, so more profits to both Rockstar and Mod Menu creators. The ones who are too used to Free mods will buy these mod menus as well, so they patched their Revenue leakage. Not to mention some dumb people will again buy gta+. So money is much greener for Rockstar now.

Best update idea ever. The skript kiddies on pc were such a nuisance.

You run your big bunker sale in a bunker 2x week, and some kiddo teleports everyone into the ocean where your vehicle and sale instantly fail, losing all inventory. I hope the kid received the attention they sought.

You play adverdary mode in Cayo, and some invincible kiddo just stands near the objective, and the other team can't do anything. I hope the kid felt like a winner for once..

You just mind your own business in free mode, and some guy teleports to all players and kills them. I hope he boosted his useless kd ratio and felt like a big shot.

Nobody would want to play chess with a kid who just proclaims their board figures as invincible or who throws over the board when losing. But here we are online.
