The iPad Pro (2018) is perfect for me still. The only thing that would get me to upgrade at this point is a better screen. The iPad doesn’t need extra cameras or a more powerful CPU. For me, it’s the perfect media consumption device so better display, sound, etc., etc. would be pretty sweet.

I’m also on a 2018 12.9” iPad Pro here. So far, so good. Couldn’t care less about triple cameras and the chip still gets things done.

I’m still using 2018 iPad Pro 11 inch. Still works flawlessly till today. Only issue for me is wear and tear. Starting to see a decline in battery performance after 4 years which is so, etching you’d see in all products. Either than that, pretty perfect!

I would love if they made an iPad Pro Mini. That would be an instant buy for me honestly.

Completely agree, I love my 2018 12.9” the only thing that has tempted me was the Mini Led, but I’m waiting for a new(er) design

I've never actually owned an iPad and was thinking of getting an iPad pro. but now that there will be a new one very soon, i think i'll just get the newest version and keep it for years.

I don’t see why anyone would want to charge the iPad wirelessly. I personally think it’s a useless feature on an iPad.

I wish the 11" iPad Pro gets a Display with better black levels. miniLED or OLED. If not, i will not upgrade....

All I wanted was Stage Manager, and I have the 2020 iPad Pro. I’m so glad that, so far, it looks like it’s coming to my iPad! I might upgrade my iPad to the M2 anyway, depending on the features it has. My iPad Pro is my full laptop replacement, and I can’t say enough great things about this experience. The only thing missing is maybe some future-proofing for when “desktop-class” applications finally make their way over to iPadOS. While I think adding Stage Manager to the 2020 iPad may be due to potential backlash, I think they’ll make a legitimate/scummy case that these new, powerful apps can only be possible with 15% more power (M1) and up.

I have a 64gb iPad Air 2 from 2014 so I’m ready for the new iPad Pro 😊

I’m using my 2017 12.9” iPad Pro and it’s still working great actually 😂

I have a 2018 iPad Pro 11" as well and unless the 2022 model comes with thinner bezels and maybe the Face ID/pill shaped cutout with the dynamic island functionality in landscape mode, I will probably not upgrade until the OLED models come out in 2024.

Curious to know what you use if you barely use your iPad?

Count me as one of those still hanging onto his 2018 iPad Pro. It's still fast and I mainly us eit as an ereader. Once Apple makes a 10.5" iPad Pro with miniLED and Pro Motion, I might consider upgrading.

No mini-led on the 11" Ipad Pro is huge letdown. I'm not interested by the 12.9", too big and heavy. I will keep my 11" 2018 Pro for yet another year.

I hope they launch a better Magic Keyboard..the present ones are highly limited in functionality like the area of trackpad and the lack of keys to change volume and screen brightness..

Final Cut Pro for the iPad would be the real game changer and would be what the new iPad Pro is designed for.

Does this mean that they are planning to release a new keyboard and if so when?
