How to enjoy a long airport layover in Taiwan

There's so much to see, eat, shop and enjoy in two terminals packed with diversions and amenities for all kinds of travelers. From art galleries, puppetry, tribal traditions and even Hello Kitty - each gate has its own theme!

I'll bet kids love that Hello Kitty play area! And wow! - the orchid gardens are so beautiful. I am super appreciative of the efforts that airports are making to create better places to spend layovers!

13 hours beside a baby and nanny!!!! I would have gone crazy...I love the relaxing chairs. It seems like the airport is it's own site...lolol What a fun place. You almost forget you're in an airport. Wow. Impressive...great video!!!

Yikes, that's a rough flight! I feel so sorry for parents because they often can't do anything and kids will be kids, but it's no fun to sit next to either! At least you had a great airport waiting for you - looks fascinating!

Oh i feel you ! On our last flight to Mauritius (14 hours and at night) we had a crying baby just in front of us. It did not stop for 10 minutes (at least it felt like it...) . Long airport stays are not one of my favorite things to do as I hate the airport feeling but if an airport offers so much to do this is really great ! 😊

That flight sounds like hell, 13 hours next to a baby! Taoyuan airport actually looks really good although Hello Kitty would not be my first choice of lounge.
