The best thing about this scene for me is that the throne finally accepted Viserys, as it didn't cut him when he sat down for the last time.

This scene reminds me so much of my Grandpa. A man in pain all the time. A weakened man whose family couldn't stop tearing each other apart. Right up until my grandpa's dying day, he showed up. Every time I needed him. He pushed through and saved me and showed me what strength is. I miss him.

Daemon genuinely loves his big brother and you can see it in his eyes. Daemon would be perfectly happy with his brother as King and him was General of all the armies.

The cherry on top was Otto's face when Viserys walked in. He was so obviously planning something, but he couldn't count on Viserys' massive brass balls.

This is maybe one of my top series scene ever (probably the first even). This walk so painful to him, just for helping his daughter, the faces of every plotters just fading into despair when they thought they will have the last words on the situation. The looks from Otto, Alicent, daemon to the KING, the look of Viserys to his daughter, the look of Rhaenyera to her father when she realises he will stood up for her despise the pain. The last steps to the stairs to the throne, rejecting his guards to back him up for not being weak, the crown falling jus like if the power he carries is too much weight, daemon picking it up and give his arm to his brother to put him on the throne, then the sequence of the brother putting the crown back on his head, a last look in silence between them.... The music who caries it... JUST PERFECT!

This scene is so powerful Viserys was often perceived as weak, easily pleased and indecisive yet he had a hidden strength inside of him that always showed at the most dire moments, a King who kept the realm together and carried on his grandfathers legacy of peace and prosperity.

It was at this very moment, he became a king. Like, dude earned my respect. Just to show all the Daemon/ Visarys wanted was the family to be united, but it was too late.

Its epic because first of all, he ruined hightowers plans, then he protected his daughter and helped her with her burden, then a reuniting of two brothers, daemon helped his brother, and he made sure that House Belaerys goes to the rightful heir.

Fun fact the scene when daemon picks up viserys crown and places it on his head was improv. I remember when everyone was worried Matt smith was taking a lead role, dude completely stole the show

I loved this scene. The moment between Daemon and Viserys is my favorite. For me personaly this is the only time in H.O.T.D or G.O.T. that the first of his name and protector of the realm line has actually meant anything! The only time it's been real.
