I'm just amazed to see how great an actor Robert Pattinson is. Like, yeah, I watched the first Twilight Movie once. He was good, one of the best actors in the movie, the movie was still garbage... But he sure has improved since then and I see a great future for his career! He will even maybe be allowed to play an actual vampire that does not glitter when exposed to sunlight, but instead will go up in flames, like a vampire is supposed to! Or at least, I don't know, feel really hot, get a sun burn immediately, you know... kinda like me when I go outside and it's a sunny day...

I saw Lighthouse twice. The first time with my family, I loved it, my parents felt meh, and my sister was horrified. Second time I saw it with 2 friends. One enjoyed it, and the other hated it.

I've never had a movie with so many different reactions.

Finally watched Parasite today with a friend. I know it's pretty late but it was just wow I loved it, everything it did, it did perfectly. And the room was packed so people are still going to see it. (I'm french btw)

The description of The Lighthouse that I keep hearing from multiple sources gives me A24 Climax vibes from it. And if it can make me feel like I'm going insane like that film can, then I am all here for it.

On the topic of Parasite, I don't mind spoilers and I've watched this video along with some other review/video essays on Parasite and still, when I sat and watched it I was still delighted and surprised with how good it was and the turn it took. What I'm trying to say is that even if you're a crazy person like me who doesn't mind spoilers, the movie will still find a way to surprise and delight you.

Watched Little Monsters the day it came out on Hulu based on your review, and really enjoyed it. Also, The Lighthouse and Parasite are my favorite movies of the year so far. Hopefully The Irishman will be joining them when I get to see it.

I cannot wait to see The Lighthouse. The trailer for it is fantastic.

The VVitch was indecipherable to me. About halfway through I popped on subtitles. But the dialog in the trailer for The Lighthouse was clear enough for me.

Just rewatched the vvitch, came out liking it more than the first time I watched it, really appreciate the attention to detail and characterization more the second time around so I’m primed for The Lighthouse. Watched little monsters on your recommendation and really enjoyed it, definitely glad I checked it out. Parasite is amazing.
