This laptop has been the best windows laptop I have used for my needs. I am not a gamer. I do not do video editing. I code using Visual Studio. That means I have to type a lot. Teams, Outlook, MS Office, and, the Edge browser. Windows App for remoting to other servers. I bought the 15 inch version with 64GB RAM. The trackpad and keyboard have always been Microsoft's strengths. And Matthew is right about the idle time. The battery life on this thing is insane. It can EASILY go through a day's work and have ~35 to 40 percent juice left.

Based on my ongoing testing the Snapdragon X1 elite variant this is one of the hottest running ARM devices on the market right now. It’s the only snapdragon laptop out of all the ones I’ve tested that hits 40+c surface temp during peak loads. I’ll be sharing my full findings when I post my review later this month. I suspect the lower fan speeds (while nice to the ears) are insufficiently cooling the device.

I'd like to see how battery with this 15" X Elite compares to the 13" X Plus. That's the longest lasting laptop I've seen on the market right now (M3 macbooks included).

I just switched over from a lifelong MacBook user. I love the thing so far (got it 2 weeks ago). However, one thing that has really been a big negative is the scrolling. It’s pretty choppy and not smooth and there is very little scrolling inertia. I hope they fix this in an update?

I want one of these ARM windows pcs so bad but there’s literally no third-party driver support yet so I’m totally unable to use any of my audio gear for music production. Prism could emulate drivers then I’d make the switch.
