The fandom back then was amazing.

I worked at Toys R Us at the time and we had a large group of employees who took shifts holding a space in line at the nearby theater for almost 2 weeks before the movie opened, just to be at the front of the line So these guys would do 8 hours at work, 8 hours in line and 8 hours at home, depending on the shift they had.

So at the first midnight showing, an entire middle section of nearly 30 seats was nothing but Toys R Us employees...

I miss those days. Sadly my store (5813) and that theater (Century 21) are long gone...
