Cover fish traps, they're so broken. I use them to build deep sea farms by pushing the fish trap back until they turn red back up till it turns blue and can rotate 360 degrees without lagging, then without moving my character I switch over to my b.p. and place a square foundation and switch back to my fish trap. The fish trap should be blue while a top of the newly placed foundation. If so, then you've done it correctly. Build out into the ocean until two walls deep from the coastline. Build a 2x3 parallel with the coast. You need a depth of two walls and be in the ocean in order to fish for sharks inside of your base.

Do not cover on of the four corners, and place a floor tile a half wall lower instead. Including that lowered floor you will need to stand on the two floor tiles away from the opening (so the other end of the same row) to cast

You can place fish traps on the other 4 floor tiles just don't block the one in front of you within the same lane as the opening.

sure, these settings will make you better at the game and increase fps, but when i play rust i want the game to look good, and i dont see the point in ruining the beauty of the game for a few more frames
