This is a really good cover. I clicked on this video since I love the Smashing Pumpkins and this is one of my absolute favourites by them. They have so many good songs and Billy is a maniac but he makes excellent songs lol. Yeah I know what you mean about adding effects when you're trying to bring out your voice since sometimes it can be distracting to the tone of the voice or start to take over but i think this sounds great because it's very delicate and brings out the dynamic in your voice. Overall, it's very nicely sung. The high points are flawless and it's refreshing to hear lots of dynamic. I'm reminded of the singer from Switchblade Symphony in terms of how you hit all notes very smoothly with ease and with precision. And that reverby tone sounds like '94 Courtney Love but not nearly as raucous/angsty and more sparse sounding. It fits the mood of this song. You definitely put a different spin on it. Also good harmonizing! Well done!!
