In the Jurassic period, the World was teeming with life, when the Earth's atmosphere had a Carbon Dioxide concentration of 7000 p.p.m. Presently, the Earth's atmosphere has a Carbon Dioxide concentration of 420 p.p.m. There is huge scope for Carbon Dioxide concentration increase in atmosphere before any "poisonous" effect are a consequence. The presenter's assertion is nonsense/rubbish. Peak oil is a more important reason for embracing renewable energy, not alleged anthropogenically-forced climate change. The Earth's climate has always been changing in the past, take for example the past ice age when Sweden was covered in 300 metre thick ice sheet.
