Spent well over 3000 GL uses in sunbreak, definitely gonna be missing this version of my Boomstick in the next title but that's why sunbreak will hold a special spot in my heart to always comeback to and take up arms with gunlance again!

This is true Pyrac but rest assured as night follows the day. After Wilds they will release MH6U on portable console in keeping with the Monster Hunter traditions. In it we will have much more freedom and if reverse blast dash doesn't return then we will get an iteration of it in some shape and form or something equally as fun in GL arsenal.


I love the teams work both the home console and the portable team. MHWilds will run so that 6U can fly. They may even have been working on it probably since the release of SunBreak the FunBreak.

In the meantime do not be sad that it's over, Wilds is still on the horizon with five months left, so that's all the more time that we can revisit our favorite MH games, myself have been switching between RiseBreak, MHWI and FU.

So can't wait for Wilds to release and the following Ultimate game after that. Great video as always.

Yeah I love GL in this game so much. It's the natural evolution of evade GL from past games. From abusing i-frames with hops to abusing i-frames with RBD and Redirections.
Tho from what I've seen so far, I like the direction they're heading with Wilds' GL. The shield will finally be useful 😆

its still amazing how much love they're showing the gunlance for wilds but yeah, switch skills carried this game, it was so fun.

We'll get this gunlance again sometime later, the main MH development team and the portable team often have more zany additions to the weapons and monsters, its like the difference between 4U and GU.

I will definitely miss this play style of gunlance. It is so much fun and makes the gunlance more mobile as a weapon, currently trying to 100% MHGU while waiting for WILDS using gunlance in GU is so vastly different to this version and makes me wonder how wilds gunlance will play and what new skills can make it broken!

Hard disagree here and I know I'm in the minority on this, but I'm glad we're going back to no longer flying around the map like a witch on a broomstick. It's a gunlance, not a magic aircraft. 😂
