WFSA organised a webinar on Tuesday 17 September to mark World Patient Safety Day (WPSD). This year's WPSD theme was "Improving Diagnosis for Patient Safety". The webinar highlighted how accurate and timely diagnosis of perioperative anaemia, as part of patient blood management (PBM) programmes, can improve patient outcomes and ensure patient safety and quality of care.
