Humans constantly go after Pallas' cats for their incredible fur. It is very dense. Humans have the rather fanciful idea that they have the right to take the cats' skin, before the cat is done with it.

I thought I was going crazy when I "recognized" this cat from a few pictures I've seen of a wet manul carrying prey, and another "flying" over bodies of water.
