This was a totally stupid vote. This is such an important question it should of been 2/3 vote rather than a simple margin.

This is a clear example of why democracy does not equals better. Here the older and more conservative individuals driven by sentimental fears are the ones responsable for this disaster, in its way the younger genereation now will have to face a more rough future and not enjoy of the benefits that globalization provides in the same way their fathers did, becouse some people are unable to use more than two brain cells when making a desicion of this magnitude. I hope this referendum gets blocked somehow or a second one takes place. When you see that half the country does not agree with the results, then such results is obviously not spaeking for the nation.

The UK was a country long before the EU came about. I'm not saying it was either good or bad, but it did add another layer of government over the economies of all of the member countries. Perhaps the citizens of the country are alarmed by the proliferation of banking control over their elected governments. You know...world domination and all that stuff.

However it is lazy to stereotype in a broad brush strokes the leave campaign in the manner you have. I honestly dont think that you have carefully examined what the eu is and what it represents. I dont know how anyone in good continence could endorse the eu, I would prefer if the continent was a family of nations as opposed the super state it was on verge of becoming, there were plans for an EU army which is rather sinister. Undemocratic, unaccountable, corrupt, Brits made a difficult decision, sure some voters happen to be racists but this is a very small chunk of the vote, and I would never defend them.
