I always find to destress, lessen anxiety for myself, I will go and sit on the porch, listen to the birds, snuggle with my dogs and also going for long walks. I am blessed that I have retired so doing these things are much easier for me. I also love to walk through my gardens, smell the flowers and enjoy the variety of colors. THIS all helps ground me and I find I am so much more relaxed. Great video.

Depending on location or situation I either go out for a walk or run, take a few minutes to do a guided Meditation or do a craft, quilting or knitting, where focus is on something other than the stressor or anxiousness where I cannot find a cause. Starting a day looking at what is good or I can be thankful for seems to tone down the day. Thank you for great techniques. I will definitely be using these.

I find going outside and hearing, feeling, seeing, smelling 3-5 things is great for grounding myself. Thank you for the extra ideas.

How do I get personal advice? I just happened to stumble across a video you are being interviewed on and instantly your advice was helpful.

Physical anxiety is killing me, insomnia for 6 years, pils, drugs and alcohol; anything to make it go away.. But it is getting worse and worse.

The only thing that has worked
a quote from Allan Watts was the only thing that helped me in these years 10 years of anxiety and panic attacks.. “No amount of anxiety will change the outcome of what will happen” -Allan Watts

Also the stimulus quote you use one of my late very good friends, hero and only person I have really trusted used to say that to me all the time and it helped me a lot in my work atmosphere
