I'm back, and I'm all in one piece. Thanks to everyone who has sent me comments of support while I've been out of action 🙏
I've got a lot of books, and I've always wanted to build a secret bookcase. I've finally got around to doing it. The whole thing is made from scrap wood, including all the material I got from taking down the wall where it was built.

Comments and questions are always welcome. I'll try to answer as many as I can.

It's great to see you back. I look forward to your videos more than anyone else's on Youtube, and I think a lot of other people feel the same way.

As someone who has always wanted a secret door to a hidden room, and who owns a great many books and not enough shelves to put them on, I watched this with immense enjoyment --- and more than a little envy.

I'm glad the injury has healed, and you're back. You've been sorely missed.

I was not ready to see so much violence from Jason. A hammer through the wall. I did not see where you were going, but my, oh my...
Good to see you arqe back in business. I kept looking at the left hand/arm. No scars. You really had gotten me worried a few months back.
Happy to see you again

The nail to wedge on the crown molding was a new one for me, nice! I like watching people work, different perspectives and ideas help to improve your skills.

As he began the open and close mechanism, I started chuckling and shaking my head in disbelief.
Thanks very much for letting us see it loaded with books. Excellent.

Hi Sir, greetings from Argentina.
Since the last video, I (we¿?) knew it would take a while until the next one... however the waiting was much than worth it.
I think a "secret door" is almost every child´s dream; you just showed us that we never stop being a bit "childish", even if it takes a few decades to fulfill that dream.
I´m so honestly happy for your fully recovery; the proses must have been hard, specially considering you couldn´t do what you love.
Until next time. Cheers from NE Patagonia.

My eldest son is a carpenter and has had several orders for secret doors in bookshelves under his belt it's one of his favorite things to make.

Absolutely the finest hidden office built. Thanks for having us along for the build. I really enjoyed it. Would have been better if my wife hadn't interrupted me 4 times.

So glad you're 'all in one piece, and back creating your mind-blowing designs and projects! I actually stopped another video I was watching to watch this when the notification showed up in my feed! That use of a simple garden gate lock and brake pedal cabling is totally ingenious! Once again, thank you so much for sharing your craftsmanship with us!

So good to see you back in your natural habitat, aka your workshop. It's not the same, seeing you sitting at the kitchen table.
