Fair play to him plus he's using his time to add to culture and grow food etc doesn't seem to be hurting anyone. we are not all hardwired to sit in mortaged flats and offices all our lives either, just the current state of affairs and social expectations which he's trying to test. lots of comments based on assumptions, i know a lot of actual scumbags parasites who 'play by the rules' as well. Good on him - i think a lot of ppl on here cud use a few days off..

Terrible man. He should be forced to get a tedious labouring job, pay all his income in rent to a landlord, get a second job on weekends in order to afford food, numb his mind with alcohol and in any free time he may have sit watching TV until his head is adjusted correctly. How the hell are we going to all become the same if people like him rebel?

I really really admire this guy. He's a hard worker and he's living the way HE WANTS TI. So what if he went to university - a lot of people do. He was young and probably pushed into it by society hence his lifestyle now. His work is also pretty awesome! I watched this documentary about a guy who decided to leave wealth a fantastic job, oil rig land and a large home to live completely of the grid, in the middle of nowhere accessible by helicopter only. He raised his two children there and taught them to hunt and fish. He decided that was his way of helpin the planet a little.. in his own way. He knew two sides of the society spectrum, well educated and wealthy to a simple life away from everyone and everything. Both of his kids are now in college. It's personal choice - and he done what he thought was best for him and his family at the time, he still lives off the grid with his wife. But I admire his kids and him also!

Nice to see someone doing things their own way. I had a friend (passed away now) who lived a very similar life, money was tight sometimes, but he was happy.

If you ain't out in a tank top challenging other travelers to a fight, you aren't living like one
