6 years from now at 3 am: “Have you or a loved one taken cold cure? If so you may be eligible for compensation...”

I'd take my chances with Garlic and Ginger over a drug any day.

Common cold drug: 4+years of testing; not ready yet

Covid vaccine: <1 year of testing, everybody needs it immediately

This reminds me of a sci-fi novel where humanity has colonized other planets but on those planets there are no virus like the common cold since people are quarantined before landing on them. As someone who has had daily problems with colds, flus, allergies and such all his life I would dream of such place. It's nice to think that we may actually beat this kind of problems within the next decades.

Germs are always around and in us. We just have to take care of our bodies. Stick to the basics. Eat natural foods. Keep stress low. Get enough sleep. Plenty of sun and fresh air. Get some healthy soil in your hands. 😊

The key to not getting sick is GETTING LOTS OF REST!!! SLEEP DAMMIT!!
The more rest your body has the better your immune system will work. We need at least 7 to 10 hours every night. No exceptions.

Don't need a cure for a natural process that cleans the human body 👁️

If people never get colds maybe that will cause a lot of problems with autoimmune diseases because people's immune systems will never get a chance to practice on something and develop? Is that not a concern?

Eliminate a non-essential protein? Uh, if the body makes a protein lining to a cell, maybe it has some good reason to do that? Sounds creepy to me. I know a woman in her 80's who has never had a cold or any other infectious disease, maybe they should check out people like that and see how their body chemistry differs?

What about some who get reinfected? When they have not even recovered from 1st lot. Been sick since begin of April with chest infections, cough, cold. Gradual recovery at end of April and come down with a very heavy stuffy head cold now on top. A secondary infection. Coming up to 5wks so far and still feel rough. Dont they have to consider our immunity as well as viruses. Those with certain health conditions will have lower immune systems. I doubt they will ever find a cure for cold viruses..We will always be lumbered with

Always remember. “If you’re not sick they’re not making money.”

Disabling the protein on the cell which is non-essential.
Who says so ?
So, why is it there in the first place ?
