They don’t really need backtracks. That’s why sometimes I kinda disliked it when it’s really loud. I’d rather hear heavy breathing and raw vocals tbh. Mad respect for these badass ladies when they choose to sing over the backtracks.

they always lip syncing in the chorus and some high notes, that's so understandable, because they are usually singing and dancing at the same time... so that's fine

it's quite fun how during some of them (especially with jesy at 4:00) you can hear her singing over the backtrack. You can think of it as their voices going to the "front" of the song rather than completely blended which is how it sounds when they're all relying on the backtrack.

At 4:59 we can tell that Jesy was lip syncing the chorus as we can hear her whispering on certain parts like in the lip syncing mic feed videos made by Rhaul

One thing I don't understand (i am sorry I am dumb). They usually lip sync during the chorus and this videos shows that sometimes they sing over the track. That means their mics are on. But why we don't hear them whispering/breathing usually?
