Bobby’s intro - They performed it on a few other shows with unusual arrangements, Marti Caine’s Christmas show version with an orchestra again, then the Starburst variety show and a 1981 retrospective show with Mike Smith with what I like to call a jingly jangly keyboard arrangement. I think their most memorable performance of the single version was on board an oil rig on Russell Harty’s show, as well as the Christmas TOTP one with Cheryl as a fairy. In more recent years with the line up featuring Bobby McVay, they re-recorded it, changing the opening line to do you dream of Christmas Eve, with a performance on This Morning.
