Season 2, episode 7 is here. Our guy Dominic is still home, getting better. Connor, Mark, and Erica talk with the iconic Denise Crosby, known for playing Tasha Yar in Star Trek: The Next Generation.

We learn about Denise's childhood, her hippy VW Bus accident in Mexico. How she was blah on modeling (but loved Europe), why she posed for Playboy, and why she wanted to leave Star Trek. She produced two movies (and is producing a 3rd) about being Trek Fans: "Trekkies" and "Trekkies 2." Wash's new pot is catching on. Erica gets some fan questions in, Connor and Denise play for Patreon Member Slacktwaddle in this week’s Star Trek Trivia, and Denise plays “Stuck on a Deserted Island with Connor Trinneer.” It's another badass actress episode of Shuttlepod Show.

Denise, "Yesterday's Enterprise" is one of the best episodes of TV I've ever seen. Thank you.

I’ve discovered the Shuttlepod Show just recently and it’s a treasure. Considering they’re relative newcomers, it’s heartwarming to see Connor and Dominic embrace the Star Trek universe. Collectively, this eclectic group of hosts works perfectly! I was fascinated by Ms Crosby’s behind the scenes stories and her life story. Finally, a big shout out to the sound engineer for the awesome sound!

When is Scott Bakula going to be a guest? Can't have the podcast without the captain!

When I was a kid the TV just happened to be on when Yesterday's Enterprise was airing. I hadn't seen an episode of TNG before that. Man was it amazing. The next day on the bus to school I heard some guys talking about how great the episode was. Man were they right. I was hooked after that. Thank you, Ms. Crosby, for a great intro to Star Trek!!!

Wonderful ... That is basically the definitive interview with Denise now. You covered everything I wanted to hear about, and she seems just as lovely as I hoped she would be.

Still head over heels about Tasha after all these years. What a fantastic interview, thanks to Denise to sharing so much of her life and thanks to the crew for setting this up. Great show!

As a fan of all Trek, particularly of what I call the Big 5 (Original, TNG, DS9, VOY, ENT), I’m embarrassed to say that I’ve only recently found this channel! Now, I’m enjoying the catch up process by binging! You guys are fantastic. All of you involved with Shuttlepod Show…Thank you so much for doing this!

Denise Crosby👏🏾💖we love you. It would’ve been so great to see more of you as Tasha Yar and I loved you as Sela. Great interview🙌🏾

You know what I really appreciate? It's the casual way Connor throws out Star Trek (Enterprise) terms like "Phase Pistol" or points out "What's a Klingon like now?" to demonstrate knowledge of the Star Trek universe. When so many actors have tried to distance themselves from their Sci-Fi work or they seem to not know any of the lore or terminology, these guys do a great job of discussing just like any fan might. I'm really impressed with the discussion. It's both interesting and entertaining.

Denise is such a remarkable individual. I've alway been a fan of her work. I was able to have a conversation with her on a radio show called Talk Trek And Beyond.
The episode "Skin Of Evil" aired here locally the same day my father died. It was a very sad dark time for myself and the family. I had to let Denise know that her performance and that episode helped me get through my father's death. To this day I'm still grateful to her and for that episode for helping me deal with my father's passing. Thank you Denise and of course Conner, Erica and Gregg. 🖖

It's wonderful that all these years later that many of the actors from all the star trek shows can be apart of conventions, cruises etc for the fans

Denise Crosby is an exciting and wonderfully kind person. Both in person and on screen. Her charm and talent can't match her warmth and wonderful sense of humor. Watching and listening to her interview here she gives incredible history and insight to her career and the details of her Star Trek experiences. Especially her electrifying chemistry with Chris McDonald (who is another talented and charming performer) . Thank you Denise for your personal commentary and your fan appreciation. Loved both Trekkies too! Great job Connor, your questions were spot on and perfect for this interview. Bravo Connor and Denise!

Her drug speech with Wesley (TNG Symbiosis) should have been used as a PSA
