my dad found this game at a thrift store for 5 dollars! Usually it cost 20 dollars used, my dad got this one in mint condition and factory sealed!

I have this game I think it's still in plastic wrap cus I bought it at a thrift store that way and when that happens I usely don't open them on the ground that I might find an open copy at another thrift store

I would go as far as to consider this a “gateway game” for more complex games. I say this because I bought the Indiana Jones DVD Game at Goodwill a few years ago, before I got into the hobby. The game helped me realize what I like in a game (tiles, cards, and dice, all used together). Now my collection has grown over the years and includes the Indy influences like Dead Men Tell No Tales, Road Kill Rally, Wrath of Ashardalon, and many others. Indy might not hit the table a lot, but it helped me (and can help others) find the ingredients they like in a game.

I do find the treasure challenges to be difficult (unless I’m too dense to figure them out). I use a rule that you get the treasure if you roll an “8”. You can buy better chances with coins or cards (now you can roll a “6, 7, or 8”). The challenges may frustrate gamers.

Indiana jones is my fav, was nice to see you do this one, you should check out the old rpg one

I didn't know they made it either. I have a Pirates of the Caribbean one but haven't played it in a long time but its esthetic and comes in a large tin box
