Sony can do so much with exclusive marketing for this game. Not just selling themed consoles but the console covers (or whatever they call them) separately like they did for SpiderMan 2 would be sick

People are saying that the footage they showed for the gta 6 trailer was recorded off a ps5 pro dev kit. If that’s true would be crazy.

I don’t think this changes much for GTA 6’s marketing besides a logo & a few watermarks.

Rockstar will release the marketing material as they see fit. No way they’re holding back because of the pro announcement as many people online have implied. Especially not on any event like SOP or TGA.

I anticipated this, Sony & Rockstar have been doing this since the early 2000s

As of typing this, I haven’t even watched the full video. However, this rumor wouldn’t even be surprising considering that Rockstar has always had a better relationship with Sony compared to Microsoft. For starters, Microsoft turned down Rockstar back in the early 2000s to get GTA 3 released on Xbox simply because they didn’t see the potential. Because of this, GTA 3, VC, and SA were temporarily exclusive on PS2. It wasn’t until the success that Microsoft gave in. Also, Sony had announced the next gen PS4 port of GTA 5 and later PS5 E&E Edition. Also, PS4 players were able to get extra money each month for GTAO after the PS5 port’s reveal up until its release. So yeah, it’s not shocking for Sony to make an exclusive marketing deal for an outside company that they’ve worked with for over 20 years.

Lastly, I wouldn’t be surprised if within the remaining GTA 6 trailers, there would be a small citation at the bottom center that reads “captured on PS5 Pro” either during and/or the end of the trailers.

Rumor says that ps5 pro will be announced next week along with a showcase afterwards and I think gta 6 trailer 2 will be shown off in October running on the ps5 pro with preorders live and an October 2025 release date

The ps5 pro will be coming out this year. So I don’t see consoles with graphics or bundles being dealt with a whole year later. If anything it’ll be the second trailer will have “captured on the PS5 pro” on. I doubt they will have any exclusive marketing rights with just PS5

If it's true that sony does indeed have a marketing deal with rockstar games. A ps5 console with gta 6 included is definitely something I can so see them do. All and all. Im very excited for this. We almost nearly there to see gta 6 mates ♥ 🐀
