I left out a couple of details such as keqing c2 being bugged (fixed now), yae miko working alongside keqing in aggravate teams replacing fischl, and chiori literally stealing the elemental skill animation identity of keqing.. all of which I felt wasn’t thaaat important.

I think you could do a video like this about Kokomi, since when she dropped she was highly hated by the players yet it became one of the (if not THE) best healer/s in the game.

They keep Making Keqing type characters, Like Alhaitham, Chiori to some extent, clorinde is just keqing pro-max without the teleport-

I still like keqing over clorinde.

Clorinde field time is too long, and doesn't have invincibility frames unless you dash. So you would want to play her with a sheilder for a better experience.

Keqing on the other hand field time is short, and her burst gives her a very long invincibility status. As long as you do not move at all during her burst animation (can be seen as long as the background is still dark), she will be invincible throughout the duration.

And yes. Keqing best team is still Nahida Kazuha Fischl. A no healer and no sheilder team. But all of the characters are quick-swap and very easily getting their burst back. A high skill high ceiling team comp for tryhards.

i got my first keqing a few months ago, and i was rlly bummed about it, until i got nahida :3 now shes part of my main team, and i love her dearly

Lmao not sure its worth mentioning how she was a top tier dps at the start. Our options were Diluc, Keqing, or Klee for a pretty good while. Her competition for on field dps was Ninguan and Noelle until Childe and Ganyu pretty quickly pushed her out.

She carried me from AR42 to AR56 👀

So don't know where the dislike comes from before Dendro

One of the players who teach to play Genshin it's a Keqing main since 1.0

Also, she makes exploring very easy. It's something that most players always forget why we like her too 🤦


PS: Swirl and electro reaction calculation damage was changed with the introduction of Kazuha. Something it wasn't mentioned in the video 🧐

I started playing in 2.2, and got Keqing in 3.0 after losing 50/50 on Tighnari, and I actually was very happy getting her, she's really fun to play

I used Keqing back in 1.1 to the introduction to dendro. Dendro quite literally changed the game. They gave Electro an actual useful reaction since before Dendro, all of Electro reaction was either cant crit and does not benefit the character damage or superconduct. The introduction of Dendro almost helps every element beside Cyro.

It's weird that you didn't mention Baizhu, her best sustain also he allows an easier swirl since he doesn't apply dendro as much as Nahida

Also if any star rail players not knowing kazuha, he is like Ruan mei but on steroids. Like this character is acheron Ruan mei and topaz combined

The Keqing banner was a last minute decision because 1.3 had 3 phases as miHoYo, as a Chinese company, didn’t want to release a character associated with death, Hu Tao, during the very auspicious Chinese New Year. If you remember, each banner in 1.3 was only 2 weeks long instead of the typical 3 weeks, hence the 3 phases. I believe the intention of miHoYo at that time was to release Xiao and Hu Tao as the two new limited characters of 1.3 but still be respectful to their culture; not to have a successful cash grab by releasing a Keqing banner.

I remember I was literally building keqing right before clorinde was dripped and I kept building her thinking I wasn’t gonna pull for clorinde… well now keqing is benched and clorinde is my best built dps by far 😅
