Joan Rivers was very smart and funny, she would have been a successful late nite show host if she had the right support I believe. I truly love watching her on her past shows, and I miss seeing her on television. I hope her family is well and many kind wishes for them. Rest easy Madame Rivers you were the best🤩🤣👜🌹🌹

Joan was not 'perfectly' honest with the reason why Johnny never spoke to her again. When she was interviewed several years ago for a Johnny Carson biography, she stated that what went wrong with Johnny was because she NEVER shared the news to Johnny that she signed on to Fox until AFTER she announced it publicly on television...that is how Johnny found out. Johnny [rightly so] felt betrayed and hung up the phone when Joan called him the next day after the announcement. She stated in the interview that she made a bad decision in not sharing with Johnny her desire to have her own show opposite the Tonight Show.
