Another brilliant video (You have helped me so much with my R7000 set up, now got a "gravel" bike with 2x10 GRX)- I seem to have an overtight from new clutch- gears shift ok without it on but on the lever is really stiff and then it struggles to drop off the lowest cog when switched on.... I'm going to try and tweak it so I can leave it on all the time and not have the lever involuntarily move to "off" on rough ground...

So this adjusts the tension in the clutch lever, but is there a way to adjust the tension of the clutch itself? Mine feels way tight, and shifting isn’t nearly as smooth as when it’s off. Great vid anyways, thanks!

So in theory this could be loosened a bit if the clutch is too strong for my taste, right?

If my clutch is on I feel vibrations while pedaling in the big ring, without the clutch it's much better... Does my clutch need adjustment or is this always the case?

I'm leaving it off, because it makes the shifting harder and more unreliable for some reason. would you know why that might be? the rear derailleur just has a harder time tensioning the chain to go to the lower speeds.

I was told that you're normally supposed to always ride with the clutch on and only turn it off for wheel removal. Is that correct?
