We Stayed on Lake Titicaca's Floating Island for 48 Hours in Peru

We are staying on an island that's floating. That means it can move around and you can feel the waves of passing boats or earth tremors...

Not so charming. Those floating island dwellings consist of densely packed grasses. That grass needs to be replaced constantly as the bottoms sit in water continues to disintegrate; i.e., rots. Not a great smell.
