I walked the same path to Castle. Beautiful neighbourhood with great people. There are quite many immigrants in this neighbourhood from Syria and Africa

What I found interesting is that you were able to walk freely without any fear in the poor area. Here in California, one would never dare walk the streets in the poor areas as it’s very dangerous.

I lived in Turkey for years. The poor are rich in tradition, customs, family, country, and each other. They are as rich as the Turkish rich. Unlike America, and I’m American, all are treated pretty equally in Turkey. It is beautiful. Unlike America, poor Turkish neighborhoods are truly safe.
