"Scab & Plaster" (or "Scab and Plaster") is an unreleased song by MARINA. It was written and produced by Marina Diamandis & Greg Kurstin in 2010, though had further production tweaks in 2011. Four versions of the song have leaked. The song was intended to appear on die Life, however the project was later merged into Electra Heart. Several die Life songs made it onto Electra Heart, but Scab & Plaster was scrapped.
Marina said about the song in March 2012: "I really don’t know. [In response to releasing it] I actually don’t feel like it was part of the concept at all. It seemed like a throw-back from The Family Jewels… We’ll see what we can do with it."
