When climbing a warm up grade, we often over think them. I'm guessing the proper beta is to smear, grab right, and heel hook the hold your left is on. Simple, but overthinking will cost you

Is the intended beta to stand and traverse on the hand holds? I can't imagine a full smear-fest on a v2

Sometimes you just gotta bend your elbows and use some power. I respect the technique though. Keeping your arms straight is good if you’re trying to conserve energy but sometimes a heel over the front of the hold with your arms bent is just the easy way.

Lol I did a very similar thing. It seems to those for whom v2 is a warmup tend to way over think the beta and go nuts on this route lol. It's a weird one!

Hahaha I have to remember this! You could make a game out of this. Just pick an easy route with 2 of your friends and then go one after the other, but no one can repeat the beta any other person before him used. I wonder if I'll end up like this as well. No joke, I think I'll do that!
