In an ideal state why TX signal is always high, not low for any particular reason for that?

3:25 In practice parallel communication is slower than serial, due to the difficulty in:
- Ensuring that the signals on all parallel lines are synchronous
- Crosstalk and EMI interference between parallel lines running at the same frequency
While theoretically a parallel protocol running at the same frequency as a serial protocol would be faster, parallel protocols tend to run at much lower frequencies. A notable exception are buses on computer motherboards, though that comes at the cost of extremely complex PCBs and tens of thousands of man-hours of design and verification time for each PCB.

if 2 data bits are corrupted while transmitting from one device to other device then both having same parity is it receiver can receive wrong data .So, how can we avoid such type of errors in UART
